Matthias Bunsen, born in Munich in 1976, studied architecture in Dresden before finding his way to graphic design in Munich. He has lived in Berchtesgaden since 2016.
As a designer with heart and soul, he loves to create visual messages with shapes, colors and fonts. Together with his partner Andreas Bunsen, he runs the creativeALPS agency, which specializes in cultural and creative industry projects in the Alpine region. He was instrumental in developing the "17 Peaks" event series, which brings together people from different countries and perspectives. In addition to developing the design for the event, together with Miriam Lehmann-Gragert he is one of the creative minds behind "Project Nona", a swing exhibition that playfully overcomes boundaries.
As one of the three Hutschn builders(www.hutschn.de), he will be there in person at the [Grenzen]Los Schaukelwanderung to tell the story and explain the motivation behind the Hutschn installation.
He is always on the lookout for new challenges and inspiration and wants to turn 17 Peaks into a cross-border platform for the exchange of ideas and perspectives in the Alpine region.
